The BRHT membership is diverse, consisting of all ages, backgrounds, and interests. As a member, you will have numerous opportunities to participate in group activities. Ride the train, staff the museum car, help with model displays, or join in on trips to other excursion railroads. The BRHT holds an annual meeting as a social gathering for the membership, with discussions about ongoing and future Trust projects. Whether you are a “railfan,” a historian, or simply someone who wants to help — come aboard today!

“Train Crew” Membership

The easiest way to come aboard! You are invited to participate in all group activities and the annual meeting. Each member receives a BRW patch.

            Individual       $25.00 per year

            Family             $35.00 per year

            Youth (15-18) $15.00 per year

            Senior (62+)   $15.00 per year

“Brakeman” Membership

Our most popular membership! In addition to the benefits of the Train Crew Membership, you receive a BRW lapel pin and a season pass to ride the Black River & Western Railroad. $50.00 per year.

“Conductor” Membership

For the serious railroader! In addition to the benefits of the Train Crew and Brakeman Memberships, you will also receive the special edition Engine #60 lapel pin.  $75.00 per year.

“Yardmaster” Membership

For the community minded organization. In addition to advertising your company on our website, you will also receive a 10% discount on any private party charters on the BRW. (Great for corporate outings!)  $125 per year.
